Utilizing the theory of electrostatics, these fellas have designed a low-cost human-computer interface device that tracks the position of a user’s hand in three dimensions. To control the device, the user simply waves their hand above it in the air. Whatever, lets see it….

Cool concept. Control machines in a studio such as a multi barrelled paint cannon. Something very old school, art school, expensive school but none the less cool school about this. The whole idea of having to queue to interact online is classic. Fire away.

An interesting look into the way that the new Mac Books have their casing machined from one piece of solid aluminium. Mac artfully calls it the “Precision aluminium unibody enclosure”. The short video features the annoyingly slick Mac designers harping on about a piece of metal getting shaped. An interesting little watch none the less.
